Dear all

I’m delighted to announce that we’ve won the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in the
international trade category.  This is the UK’s most prestigious business award
and is made every year to recognise successful British companies and
organisations.  What the judging panel look for in the international trade
category is evidence of growing revenues over a period of six years, and we were
able to demonstrate double digit growth in every one of those six years.  The
panel’s recommendations are approved by both the UK Prime Minister and Her
Majesty the Queen.  That’s some pretty serious backing for the work we do.

The growth that we have seen over the last few years would be the envy of any
business, but what of course makes us doubly special is the impact that growth
has on learners around the world.  So for me the award is as much for our
millions of learners as it is for the Cambridge English family.  We have only
achieved our success thanks to the collaboration we have with organisations like
yours, so thank you for making the award possible.

This exciting news will be a great boost for our brand and reputation around the
world and no doubt you’ll want to tell your own customers about this, which will
be brilliant.  Sadly, we are not allowed to provide you with a Queen’s Award
logo for promotional purposes, but we will be producing marketing materials
centrally that will bear the Queen’s Award logo which will be available shortly.

We will be officially presented with the award later in the year, so I will send
you a photo then!
